Award-winning Creative Director of The Look & The Feel | Branding and web design for small-mid sized businesses.

Callie Cullum, senior designer and creative director, runs two design and branding businesses out of her home in Atlanta.

Hey there, I’m Callie.

I’m a designer + art director based in the creative city of Atlanta, GA.

I’ve been working in the design world for 9+ years, and I started my creative journey as a full-time freelance designer in 2015. When you get to know me, you’ll learn that I’m laid-back and like living a care-free life. I really value taking time to enjoy each day and, for me, that means maintaining a healthy work/life balance. I can't resist a good bowl of pho, and I may be slightly obsessed with my cats Binx and Bascom. When I’m not working with my awesome clients, I love to travel, cook with my husband, and explore my new hometown of Atlanta.

Building a great brand is hard work, and from personal experience, I know that with any vocation, there are ups and downs. What I’ve realized, though, is that when you feel confident and proud of your work, you are more inspired and motivated to push through the hard days and celebrate the great days.

When you step out with confidence you feel like you can tackle anything that comes your way. Your visual branding can be a tool to help you feel proud and empowered in your work and how you show it to the world.

One of the best things about my work is that I get to chose who I work with. I love working in collaboration with people who value the environment, animals, and helping other people. I’m drawn to passionate, creative, and life-loving people who aren’t afraid to take a leap into a new adventure and who also believe that life isn’t just about work and making an income.

I love what I do and I hope you do, too. I want you to feel like you’re living the best version of your life by doing work you absolutely love with a brand that you adore.

A little more about my creative personal journey

Me with my rescue dog and lazy coworker, Bertie.

A big reason for why I do the work I do is that, when I was in high school, I broke my back. Over time, I continued to grow and heal. I went to college and studied design. After graduation, I started working in the "real world" like most of my peers. Over the years, and a few traditional 9-5 jobs later, I realized that due to my injury, my body isn't built for a 9-5 desk job. I was living in constant pain and was not feeling fulfilled in my work. I felt no sense of purpose. I wanted to do something that I enjoyed and that made me feel good, emotionally and physically. I asked myself, What am I doing this for?

The desire to feel good and to prioritize my own well-being fueled my passion to go out on my own. I launched my own business almost three years ago when I moved from San Francisco to Atlanta. I had the opportunity to start full-time freelancing and I instantly fell in love with it. I now have the freedom to take breaks when I need to and listen to my body.

I’m so happy with my decision to start this journey and I couldn't be happier with the progress I've made. I'm by no means living completely pain-free, but I'm learning so much about what I need, and how to take care of myself. I’ve also found the fulfillment and purpose I was looking for: I hope to use my design talent to equip others with the tools they need to succeed on their entrepreneurial journey, whatever it may be!

I hope we can work together!
